Christ is not the builder of the church literally but he gathers his brethren first(Lk13:34)and then the Gentiles (Jn11:52Lk11:23Ac1:8). Yeshua saves his Church(because it is He who brings them as a Shepherd/High Priest)by the shedding of his blood(That is why together in one fold are called Churches of Chist). He will deliver his Church/kingdom to God the Father(1Co15:24)because He is his Head(1Co11:3)
Christ is the Spiritual Rock(1Co10:4)the cornerstone(Mt21:42)upon the church of God is built(Mt16:15-18)
