Beginning Again 7

Bible Study,Memorization, Meditation

BIBLICAL EDUCATION

In this world that is ever darkened,we will need to revive and strengthen our Biblical knowledge of God's truth, Justice and his Charity.

And not the world's lies, advantages and blatant cruelty.

In that we learn to be peaceable with one another.

There are schools that teaches good manners, right conduct and all its values education.

But no teaching of men can best the Bible in teaching humility and being at peace within you.

THE WORD IN HEBREW

SCHOOL TEXTBOOK

In a grade 4 classroom, teacher ask his pupils to bring out their textbook

Pup(il)1:Grade 4 textbook this year
Pup2:Grade 4 textbook last year
Pup3:Grade 5 textbook this year

Which do you think has the right textbook

During my college years, I flunked my trigonometry. So I needed to go to summer class

When I was there, we were taught by the author of the textbook(that same book that flunked me), and at the end of that class I got a passing grade(I'm not an enginer, what do I care about trigo these days)

The value story of the moral(I mean the story of moral of the value)is that I don't like trigonometry, and I can count without that subject in my life. There! Satisfied  I know I am

GOD'S VERSION

The main point here is that when the

author of the book is your teacher, you will understand it more clearly.

The Bible is God's word, it should not be
translated into many versions (well, you can have different languages, commentaries, dictionaries for it because these are foreign words we are dealing with,it's called human studies)but few as much as possible.

But let the author himself teach you his word(book)

How can you meditate on the Bible when the only thing you know is the bible versions and not His Word

How can you memorize the scriptures if what his using is not the Word of God, and different from yours. Unless the God whom he is worshipping is different from yours, seeing he has to remember a different Word(and your in the same church)

Matthew 4:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

By= indicates cause/action(eat it)

Matthew 4:4 American Standard Version (ASV)

4 But he answered and said, It is written, [a]Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

(Try Jeremiah23:23)

Matthew4:4 Modern Language Bible

Man shall not live on bread alone but on every command that proceeds from the mouth of God

On= as means of functioning

Every command= not the same as word(declaration)
,not every thing in the Bible is about commands. There are Genealogy, History and Poetry to name a few.

Matthew 4:4 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

4 But he answering said, `It hath been written, Not upon bread alone doth man live, but upon every word coming forth from the mouth of God.'

Upon= means the same as "on" but is more formal

Coming Forth= long,many letters

Proceedeth= one word, direct language, indicates action.

The Bible alway shortens its word to give direct messages

Examine these verses from different versions. They may look the same but not really

Job 37:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

Titus 2:8 King James Version (KJV)

8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

2 Corinthians 3:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

Proverbs 8:8-9 King James Version (KJV)

8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
